Meals on Wheels London’s “Wheels for Wellness” service provides safe, reliable, and affordable non-emergency transportation for adults 55+, as well as adults 18+ with disabilities. We help you get to your wellness and medical appointments on time, so you never miss essential care.

Who is Eligible?
- Adults aged 55 years and older living in London, ON
- Adults aged 18 years and older with disabilities residing in London, ON
- Must be able to board the vehicle without wheelchair assistance (vehicles are not wheelchair accessible)
- Income-based subsidies are available for eligible riders (see pricing below)
Service Limitations
- No children or petsÂ
- We cannot accommodate persons who require wheelchairs or scootersÂ
- We do provide limited assistance getting in and out of the vehicle

Income Level & Round Trip Cost
- Above $38,000 (couple) / $28,000 (single) –Â $24 per Round Trip Ride
- Below $38,000 (couple) / $28,000 (single) –Â $20 per Round Trip Ride
- Below $34,000 (couple) / $23,000 (single) –Â $17 per Round Trip Ride

How to Book Your Ride
Booking transportation with MOWL is simple:
- Call 519-660-1430, press 2 for transportation during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30).
- We will take your information and help you book your first ride.
- The more notice for a ride, the better chance we have to fill it.
- You will receive a confirmation call with your driver details and pick up time.
- Appointments must be completed no later than 4:00pm, to ensure we get you home before 4:30.
Other Service Information
- Requests depend on availability of volunteers, no request is guaranteed.
- Requests will be confirmed once a driver is secured.
- Rides are completed within Meals on Wheels London business hours; the earliest appointment time accepted is 8:30 a.m and should allow for clients to be home by 4:30
- Clients are billed for all rides at the end of each month.
